About Me
MY NAME IS rachel
I’ve been building furniture for about 4 years now. What started out as a personal necessity has blossomed into a labour of love. With Sawdust and Smoke, I create solid, handmade furniture and decor that’s customized to every client’s needs and style. While I have a passion for rustic and reclaimed wood, I pride myself on locally sourcing as many materials as possible.
In 2018 I was blessed with the opportunity to be a part of Animal Planet’s SCALED in Calgary, working with Cornel’s World to build world’s most unique and over-the-top reptile enclosures.
Custom made has truly become a way of life.
